Provides practical guidance to support the Pipelines Safety Regulations, the Gas Safety (Management) Regulations and the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GS(I&U)R). The Guidance is for gas transporters, gas suppliers, installers and investigators and covers reporting and investigating incidents and dangerous occurrences associated directly with the supply and use of fuel gases and the release of carbon monoxide. Natural Gas incidents are covered by all the mentioned legislation but other gases are addressed in, for example, GS(I&U)R.
The Guidance provides good practice even when legislation may not apply.
Includes advice for the reporting and investigation of incidents etc. under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations.
