Human and organisational factors can impact on occupational and process safety performance. It is increasingly becoming a key focus area within industry.
The EI Human and Organisational Factors Committee (HOFCOM) serves as the focal point for human and organisational factors affecting the energy and allied industries. The committee engages industry and stakeholders by commissioning studies, sharing knowledge and providing human factors tools, many of which are freely available at www.energyinst.org/humanfactors.
