Electrical safety
Electrical issues affect all aspects of upstream and downstream petroleum industry operations, including: the classification of hazardous areas; selection and inspection of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment; the control of potential hazards due to static electric discharge; the assessment of electrical supply protection, etc.
Our electrical safety publications are produced to enhance the competence of electrical practitioners working on petroleum installations.
