Scope
This method describes a spectrophotometric procedure for the determination of hydrogen sulphide in fuel oil over the concentration range 0,50 mg/kg to 32,0 mg/kg.
The precision of this method is critically dependent on the procedures and materials specified to minimise losses of hydrogen sulfide by oxidation and absorption.
