Scope
This standard specifies a method for the determination of sulfate and nitrate on non-extracted filters, or sectors of filters, used to collect particulates from diesel engine exhaust gases, in the range 0,15ug to 30ug per 100 mm2 of filter. The smallest sector that can be taken for analysis is 150 mm2 in area.
