Scope
This International Standard specifies a method for determining the cone
penetration of lubricating greases at low temperatures.
NOTE 1 - Precision
has only been determined in the temperature range -40 °C to -20 °C. This
International Standard may be used at other temperatures, e.g. -20 °C to +20 °C,
however precision has not been determined under these conditions.
NOTE 2 - The cone penetration is expressed in units of 0,1 mm.
