This standard describes a method for determining the level of dispersed particles in diesel and diesel blends with up to 10 % (V/V) fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) for particles ≥4 μm(c) ≥6 μm(c) and ≥14 μm(c). An optional procedure is included as Annex A to remove water and toluene soluble particles which are thought to be soft and non-abrasive.
