Scope
This standard specifies a method for the determination of the concentration of lead, nickel, chromium, copper, zinc, arsenic, cadmium, thallium, antimony, cobalt, manganese and vanadium present in distillate type burner fuels, with a maximum viscosity of 5,5 mm2/s at 40 °C, derived from waste mineral oils, by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICPAES).
NOTE - For the purposes of this standard, the terms "% (m/m)" and "% (V/V)" are used to represent respectively the mass fraction and the volume fraction.
