This is the Spanish translation of the publication EI 1560 Recommended practice for the operation, inspection, maintenance and commissioning of aviation fuel hydrant systems and hydrant system extensions. This title was originally published in English in 2013.

Aviation fuel hydrant systems at airports are the penultimate step in the delivery chain of aviation fuel into aircraft. It is therefore imperative to ensure that the quality and cleanliness of the jet fuel in the hydrant is maintained at all times.

This publication has been developed to assist in the optimisation of hydrant system operations. It provides recommended practices for operational checks, inspections and maintenance procedures to ensure aviation fuel quality assurance and cleanliness standards are met. It also provides recommendations for associated equipment, from pump sets to hydrant pit valves and for those undertaking routine checks and inspections of such equipment.
