Prepared by the Decompression Sickness Central Registry's Department of Occupational Health and Hygiene at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, and its Radiological Panel. This report analyses medical data and records of diving experience from 4980 divers, for the period 1972-1980, for the prevalence of bone damage/lesions and provides recommendations regarding the need for regular skeletal surveys by conventional radiology.
