A software application that enables users to complete an operational risk assessment for a petroleum distribution facility, whether a terminal, depot or larger customer storage facility. It is intended for use by site managers, SHE managers, or those with an interest in managing or regulating risk drivers at such sites. The application takes the user through each area of a petroleum distribution facility using an activity-based risk assessment method and records the findings; in addition, it creates reports and action plans to appropriately address the risks identified. Completing a risk assessment using IP risk manager for terminals should help petroleum distribution facilities to meet pertinent operational (but not major hazards) safety, health and environmental legislative requirements, as well as satisfying other pertinent risk drivers.
